This is my main flower bed in April. The previous owners of our house had an above ground pool surrounded by a concrete curb. We have always said we would take out the curb one of these days, but that day hasn't come yet. I'm already longing for springtime. 
This is the garden 6 months later. I have to do a lot of clean up and cutting back, then put in winter and early spring plants and seeds. I have 2 flats of 4" pots to put in.... mmm... my back is objecting already.

Great idea to take the spring and fall pics. And you've done a great job ensuring there's something interesting to look at it in both seasons!
